Concho Valley Community Action & Resources for Empowerment and Success (C.A.R.E.S.)

The Community Action and Resources for Empowerment and Success (CV CARES) Coalition is a program of the Alcohol & Drug Awareness Center for the Concho Valley (ADACCV). The mission of the Concho Valley CARES Coalition is to reduce substance misuse through community effort, focusing on youth.

CV CARES was formed in March 2007 when Bishop Michael Pfeifer called numerous community representatives to meet and discuss how to address the substance misuse problems in our community. From this initial gathering, the CARES Coalition was established and began meeting.
